It supports a range of accurate and efficient 2D and 3D reconstruction of visible light, and data processing through DJI LiDAR. DJI Terra is a perfect match for DJI Enterprise drones and payloads. 2D Maps

Rapidly generate high-precision True Digital Orthophoto (TDOM) and Digital Surface Model (DSM) from photos. The algorithm is optimized according to the different scenarios to significantly improve processing efficiency, effectively avoid image warping and deformation, and obtain detailed and accurate measurement results for all your target objects and survey areas. It meets the needs of various scenarios such as mapping, land surveying, natural resource and urban planning, emergency response, agricultural route planning, and more.

LiDAR

With just one click, you can perform highly accurate processing of the point cloud data captured by the Zenmuse LiDAR in DJI Terra. The data undergoes trajectory computation and point cloud accuracy optimization, enabling the direct generation of various standard formats of 3D point clouds. After ground point classification, it can output DEM (Digital Elevation Model) and contour results. Importing control points allows for accuracy control, resulting in high-precision point cloud outputs. Quality reports and profile inspection functions facilitate point cloud quality analysis. In the event of unexpected RTK real-time differential data loss, the DJI Terra PPK function can still match offline base station data to reconstruct high-precision models.

Multispectral

Using multispectral data from DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral and P4 Multispectral, vegetation index maps including NDVI and NDRE can be produced to provide insight into plant growth and health, radiometric correction is supported and reflectance maps can be generated for remote sensing research. Prescription maps can be created for variable rate application using DJI’s Agras drones to improve crop yields while driving down costs.

DJI Terra and DJI Modify Seamless Workflow

With one click, DJI Terra can launch DJI Modify. DJI Terra can also easily generate files for model editing with another click. These simple steps make the subsequent model editing process quick and convenient. DJI Modify is DJI's first intelligent 3D model editing software. It features a streamlined and intuitive interface that is simple to use to complete 3D model editing efficiently. It accurately identifies floating parts, holes, and vehicles in the models. Mesh can be repaired with a single click, with true-to-life textures generated quickly, significantly simplifying the model editing process

Paired with a DJI Enterprise drone and DJI Terra, it forms a comprehensive solution from aerial surveying, modeling, and model editing to sharing these models easily to meet operational needs in surveying and mapping, firefighting, emergency response, and transportation. Moreover, users can quickly share processed model results to the cloud without installing specific software and view models online via a shared link on the web or mobile platforms.

Easy Application Integration

DJI Terra supports output in common formats, including TIFF orthomosaic and elevation models, LAS point cloud format, and six common 3D model formats such as B3DM, OSGB, OBJ, as well as DXF and SHP contour formats. These results can be easily integrated into various GIS, CAD, and other third-party data application software, enabling a wide range of drone data industry applications.

1. System requirements: Windows 10 or above (64 bit, 32GB RAM), NVIDIA graphics card (4GB) with compute capability 6.1 or above.

2. Supports various 3D model formats including B3DM, OSGB, PLY, OBJ, S3MB, I3S, and 3D point cloud formats including PNTS, LAS, PLY, PCD, S3MB, etc.

3. Processing capability of 400 images/1GB free memory is based on 80% overlap in heading, 70% overlap in side direction, and downward looking image data with GPS information, which may vary depending on image overlap and scene texture.

4. The capability to process 6,000 images per 1 GB of free memory is based on the test results using aerial photographic data with 80% frontal overlap, 70% side overlap, top-down shooting, and GPS information. Results can vary based on how much your images overlap and how complex the scene is.

The actual accuracy can be affected by RTK positioning precision, on-site lighting, camera lenses, and route planning. Vertical accuracy refers to reconstruction accuracy for oblique images.

11. Based on actual tests conducted in DJI's indoor laboratory, it is recommended to use an i7 10th generation or higher CPU and SSD high-speed hard disk.

Tested at DJI's outdoor experimental site under the following conditions: Zenmuse L2 mounted on Matrice 350 RTK and powered on, using DJI Pilot 2 for area mission planning (with IMU calibration enabled), using repeat scan mode, RTK status set to FIX, relative flight altitude of 150 meters, flight speed of 15 meters/second, gimbal pitch angle set to -90°, each straight segment of the route not exceeding 1500 meters, features with clear angular characteristics, using bare hard surface check points conforming to the diffuse reflection model. Post-processing was conducted using DJI Terra with point cloud accuracy optimization enabled. Under the same conditions, if point cloud accuracy optimization is not enabled, the elevation accuracy is 4 centimeters, and the planar accuracy is 8 centimeters.

16. Compatible with the Phantom 4 RTK (remote controller with screen), Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, Phantom 4 Pro + V2.0, Phantom 4 Pro, Phantom 4 Advanced, and Phantom 4.

17. Free trial licenses that are valid for 1-6 months do not support unbinding.

18. The reconstruction of 500+ photos is not supported by the Education Version of Terra.

19. Permanent certificates can be upgraded to any software version within one year after activation and binding. The paid update period shall start after one year. An upgrade and maintenance fee must be paid to upgrade to any software version released during the paid update period. For more information on the upgrade fee for the Permanent version, please refer to the "DJI Terra Permanent Version Upgrade & Maintenance Fee Rules."

20. The following online features are not available in Offline Mode:
(1) Unlocking GEO Zones
(2) Map loading and location searching
(3) Without logging into a DJI account, some flight control functions in DJI Terra will be restricted.
